System Engineer

Job Description
Responsible for a sub-system throughout its lifecycle.
Perform engineering requirements analysis.
Provide necessary technical documentation, including:
Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
Input/output requirements for Interfaces Management
Inputs for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security
Inputs for Installation Management
Operation and Maintenance documentation
Training materials
Assist the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages.
Work with contractors to produce costing and ensure timely delivery.
Report and follow-up on the KPIs for the sub-system.
Participate in progress meetings.
Analyze and correct Problem Change Requests.

Job Requirements
Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
Ability to decipher technical scope from high-level requirements.
Experience with governmental and/or complex IT projects.
